Mike Foss started his early artistic adventures like most drawing on the walls of the family
house in Vermont.
His parents saw a talent and decided not to fight it. So the hall way walls became Mike’s first
canvas. He would start at one end and continue down the hall once finished it was painted out
blank and mike started again.
After years of study Mike headed west to escape the cold winters of New England.
One of Los Angeles’ top private chefs Mike still finds time to devote to first love…painting.
Mike has been showing his current series of abstract painting in restaurants, galleries and
artist events throughout Southern California. His paintings and commissions hang in the
homes of some of his famous clients.
He was a featured artist in the first Tour des Artistes exhibition last summer in Long Beach.
Mike is currently showing works at Metropolitan Living Showroom in downtown Long Beach.
Mike 's work can also be seen at the "TEN" salon and spa in downtown Long Beach.
